I enjoy helping beginners to learn the basics of singing, drawing out their own unique voice and helping them to build confidence.

Yes, I teach children from about 7 years old. I usually recommend children start with a 30 minute lesson. I ensure lessons are tailored appropriately to each child’s age and ability, and like adults, we work on songs the child loves. I also hold an Enhanced DBS check.

I teach all my singing lessons at my home teaching space located near Meadowhall, Sheffield. It is the perfect place to learn to sing with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and easy access.

The songs you love. Singing your favourite songs helps you to improve and develop easily. I can teach most styles, but specialise in soul, pop, jazz, and musical theatre. We can discuss this at your first lesson. We can use sheet music or lyric sheets, whichever you prefer. I can also teach you how to read music if that’s something you’re interested in.

The first time you sing can feel a bit scary - but don't worry, I ensure my lessons are very friendly and relaxed and you’ll find that you’re enjoying singing so much and learning about your voice, you’ll quickly grow in confidence.

That’s no problem, just let me know 48 hours before the lesson and I will be happy to rearrange. I have a cancellation policy, whereby if you cancel within 48 hours, you will be charged the full lesson fee.
