Whether you just want to sing for pleasure and learn the basics, or you're a more experienced singer preparing for an audition, exam, performance or recording session, Amanda can tailor lessons to meet your personal goals.
Singing lessons can help you develop your pitch and power, breathing/vocal techniques, improvisation, harmony, live performance skills and confidence. Amanda teaches most styles and music genres but specialises in soul, pop, jazz and musical theatre.
A singer and musician from an early age, Amanda has a variety of music-making experience from solo performances at weddings and events, to performing with bands and groups such as a gospel choir, jazz trio and 10-piece blues band.
“In the eight months, I've been having lessons with Amanda, my tone quality and accuracy have improved much more quickly than I ever expected. I have a much richer sound than before (and in tune!).”– Ben, 6th Form Student
Amanda received training from a renowned London-based vocal coach who specialises in training West End performers. She also trained at London's Vocaltech Music School where she studied performance technique. She has songwriting and recording experience including training in the basics of sound engineering. More recently Amanda was delighted to be invited as one of the judges at the National Singing Competition 'TeenStar' in Sheffield.
